Use of any part of the MedfoNet website constitutes your implied agreement with the following policy and all of its terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please leave the site immediately.

MedfoNet, Inc. (MedfoNet) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting any personal information that you provide to us. This statement explains our policies and practices regarding the use and disclosure of your personal information by MedfoNet. Please note that MedfoNet reviews and updates this Privacy Policy from time to time, as needed, without notice. Therefore, you should review the terms of this policy periodically to make sure that you are aware of how MedfoNet collects and uses personal information.

Generally, you can browse through our website without giving us any information about yourself. When we do need your personal information to provide services that you request, or when you choose to provide us with your personal information, your personal information will be used as described in this policy.

Information Collection

When you browse our website, you do so anonymously, unless you have previously indicated that you wish MedfoNet to remember your login and password. We do not automatically collect personal information, including your email address. We do log your IP address (the Internet address of your computer) to give us an idea of which part of our website you visit and how long you spend there. But we do not link your IP address to any personal information unless you have logged in to our website. Like many other commercial websites, the MedfoNet website may use a standard technology called a "cookie" to collect information about how you use the site. Please see "Cookies" below, for more information.

Personal Information. You have complete control over your personal information. In general, you can visit our web site without providing us with any personal information. However, there are instances where we must have your personal information in order for us to grant you access to our protected and secured sites. This information may include registration data (your name, address, email address, phone number, title, etc.), information request data and response data ("Subscriber Information").

When you receive your confirmation email or when you receive any email from a list server operated by or for MedfoNet, you will be given instructions on how to remove yourself from the list.

MedfoNet collects information when you register with MedfoNet for a MedfoNet account, when you use certain MedfoNet products or services, when you register to attend a seminar or participate in an online survey, when you ask to be included in an email or other mailing list, or when you submit your information to MedfoNet for any other reason.

BusinessInformation. Business information means any information that may be used to identify an individual MedfoNet client, including, but not limited to, business name and address, user first and last name, email address, a postal or other physical address, other contact information, title, birth date, gender, occupation, industry, business or personal interests, or other information when needed to provide a service requested by the MedfoNet client.

From time to time, MedfoNet receives business information from business partners and vendors. MedfoNet only uses such information if it has been collected in accordance with acceptable privacy practices consistent with this Policy and applicable laws.

Your business information may be retained by MedfoNet to verify compliance with agreements, log MedfoNet system licenses granted, to track MedfoNet information downloaded from those pages, or track usage of other applications available on those pages.

Access. Access to certain MedfoNet web pages requires a login and a password. The use of those web pages, and the information or programs downloadable from those pages, is governed by this agreement between you and MedfoNet.

Use of Subscriber Information

We intend to use information we collect for purposes of supporting you and your employer’s relationship with MedfoNet by providing web site content that is suitable to your needs and alerting you to new product and service offerings as they become available. This Information may be retained by MedfoNet to verify compliance with the agreement between MedfoNet and your employer, to keep track of the domains from which people visit us, to create a profile to better serve you and your employer, or to simply contact you either electronically or otherwise. If you decide that we should not use your personal information to contact you, please let us know and we will not use that information for such purpose.

When information is collected, we will inform you at the point of collection the purpose for the collection. MedfoNet does not intend to transfer your business information to third parties without your consent, except under the limited conditions described under the discussion entitled "Disclosure of Subscriber Information" below.

If you choose to provide us with your business information, we may transfer that information, within MedfoNet or to MedfoNet’s third party service providers, in accordance with terms of this Policy.

We will always give you the opportunity to "opt out" of receiving direct marketing or market research communications. This means we assume you have given us your consent to collect and use your information in accordance with this Policy unless you take affirmative action to indicate that you do not consent, for instance by clicking or checking the appropriate option or box at the point of collection. In some cases, when applicable, we will provide you with the opportunity to "opt in." This means we will require your affirmative action to indicate your consent before we use your information for purposes other than the purpose for which it was submitted.

Disclosure of Subscriber Information. MedfoNet does not sell, trade or transfer Subscriber Information to third parties. MedfoNet may send your business information to other companies or people under any of the following circumstances: when we have your consent to share the information; we need to share your information to provide the product or service you have requested; we need to send the information to companies who work on behalf of MedfoNet to provide a product or service to you (we will only provide those companies the information they need to deliver the service, and they are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose); or we want to keep you up to date on the latest product announcements, MedfoNet system updates, special offers or other information we think you’d like to hear about either from us or from our business partners. We will also disclose your business information if required to do so by law, to enforce our Terms of Use, or in urgent circumstances, to protect business safety, the public or our websites. You may separately agree to provide your personal information to third parties that provide content for MedfoNet Offerings, in order to access and/or use their products and/or services. If you agree to provide such information to these third parties, then your personal information will be subject to their privacy policies.

Accuracy and Security. The accuracy and security of the Subscriber Information is important to MedfoNet. Currently, you may review and request updates to your Subscriber Information retained by MedfoNet from your account management page. If you contact us to correct your Subscriber Information, we will attempt to correct such inaccuracies in a timely manner. MedfoNet is concerned with the security of your Subscriber Information and is committed to taking reasonable steps to protect it from unauthorized access and use of that personal information. To that end, we have put in place the appropriate physical, electronic and managerial policies and procedures to secure your personal Subscriber Information. We also continue to implement procedures to maintain accurate, complete and current Subscriber Information. Furthermore, we regularly evaluate new security measures and implement those which enable us to provide improved security for our systems.

Subscriber Names and Passwords. Access to certain content on our web site may be allowed under a written agreement between you or your employer and MedfoNet and will require a subscriber name and/or password. In some cases, failure to provide personal information may prevent you from accessing certain MedfoNet web site(s) containing certain confidential information, products, services, or promotional offers ("MedfoNet Offerings"). By accessing and using our protected and secured web site(s), you agree to maintain the confidentiality of the subscriber name and password you selected to access such site(s) and consent to our Terms of Service.

Cookies

MedfoNet uses "cookies". A cookie is a small data file that a web site can transfer to a visitor’s hard drive to keep records of the visits to such site. A cookie contains information such as your subscriber name and password that helps us recognize the pages you have visited and improve future visits, but the only personal information a cookie can contain is the information that you provide yourself. A cookie cannot read data off of your hard drive or read cookie files created by other sites. Information stored in cookies may be encrypted, however, we do not store your credit card number in cookies. If you prefer not to accept a cookie, you can set your web browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, or Opera) to warn you before accepting cookies, or you can refuse all cookies by turning them off in your web browser. However, access to our secured web site(s) requires the use of per-session cookies in Microsoft Internet Explorer, which you must set to enable cookies that get sent back to the originating server. (This is usually a default setting in Internet Explorer) Otherwise, you can still access most of the features on our web site even without accepting a cookie.

Your Ability to Review and Delete Your Account and Information

If you are a registered MedfoNet user, you can review your business information by accessing your account information on line. You may also request deletion of your MedfoNet account or any of your business information held by us by sending an email to legal@medfonet.com. Requests for account deactivation or data deletion must come from an authorized company representative. Be aware that some information that you may enter may be required to be kept under HIPAA regulations, and will not be deleted.

Data Security

Your MedfoNet account information is password-protected for your privacy and security. MedfoNet safeguards the security of the data you send us with physical, electronic, and managerial procedures. In certain areas of our websites, MedfoNet uses industry-standard SSL-encryption to enhance the security of data transmissions.

While we strive to protect your business information, we cannot ensure the security of the information you transmit to us, and so we urge you to take every precaution to protect your business data when you are on the Internet. Change your passwords often, use a combination of letters and numbers, and make sure you use a secure browser.

Children and Privacy

Our websites do not target and are not intended to attract children under the age of 13. MedfoNet does not knowingly solicit business information from children under the age of 13 or send them requests for business information.

MedfoNet web site provides links to other third party web sites. Even if the third party is affiliated with MedfoNet through a business partnership or otherwise, MedfoNet is not responsible for the privacy policies or practices or the content of such external links.
